Nuggets Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
The Nuggets have a swagger and a strut. It's like they're winning
games on the playground and calling for the next foe.
They won at Boston, the defending NBA champion, last Friday in
their previous road game. Next.
They triumphed at San Antonio, the 2007 champs, on Wednesday. Next.
Well, that would leave Friday's date in Los Angeles against the
Lakers, likely the NBA's best team.
"We're going to go in there and try to steal another game on the
road," Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said about the team that has
owned Denver of late.
Of course, that was before the Nov. 3 trade in which Denver
acquired guard Chauncey Billups.

Iverson, Billups continue to star for new teams (AP) Allen Iverson has fit in well with the Detroit Pistons. Chauncey Billups has been every bit as good -- or better -- with the Denver Nuggets. Iverson, acquired from Denver for Billups, Antonio McDyess and Cheikh Samb, scored 23 points in Detroit's 96-89 home victory over Cleveland on Wednesday night. "It's early, but it's exciting," Iverson said.

Billups scores 22 to lead Nuggets over Spurs (AP)

Chauncey Billups made big shots and the Denver Nuggets got plenty of key stops. Billups scored 22 points, Carmelo Anthony added 21 and the surging Nuggets cruised to a 91-81 victory Wednesday night over the injury-riddled San Antonio Spurs. Kenyon Martin added 18 points and Nene had 16 to round out a balanced attack by the Nuggets (8-4), who have won four straight and seven of eight overall since...

Nuggets return to high-flying ways in win (AP)

The high-flying, high-scoring Denver Nuggets didn't leave town with Allen Iverson, after all. Although the new model features a stingy defense and an effective halfcourt offense engineered by Chauncey Billups, there's still some pop left in the lineup to light up the scoreboards. Linas Kleiza scored 25 points, Carmelo Anthony had 17 in limited duty and the Nuggets whipped Milwaukee 114-105 Tuesday...

James, Cavaliers beat Nuggets 110-99 (AP)

In the locker room at halftime, Cavaliers coach Mike Brown forced his players to watch a horror flick -- highlights of their defense in the first half. "We were watching film and it was as ugly as it looked," Mo Williams said. After allowing 61 points in a first-half track meet, the Cavaliers buckled down, held Denver to 38 after halftime and won their sixth straight, 110-99 over the Nuggets on...

James has Manilow on iPod (AP)Get this: LeBron listens to Barry Manilow. Or Brian Manilow. A big fan of all styles of music, Cleveland's superstar always gets ready for games by listening to hip hop.
