  • Bucks Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

While Bucks coach Scott Skiles has been generally satisfied by his

team's competitiveness and resiliency, he isn't impressed by his

team's lackluster starts—especially since Michael Redd was

sidelined with a high ankle injury. In eight of the nine games with

Redd out, the Bucks have stumbled out of the blocks and more often

than not faced double-digit deficits by halftime.

To wit: the Bucks trailed the Nuggets 64-50 at halftime, the

Celtics 50-38, the Grizzlies 49-37, the Spurs 43-31, the Cavaliers

48-42, the Suns 52-42, the Celtics 55-47 and the Wizards 45-39. The

only time the Bucks have been ahead at halftime since Redd got hurt

was Wednesday night when they led the Jazz 53-51.
  • Jazz rally to beat Bucks (AP)

Utah Jazz forward C.J. Miles (34) shoots against the Milwaukee Bucks during the fourth quarter of the NBA basketball game Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, in Salt Lake City. Miles finished the night with 25 points to tie the game high. The Jazz defeated the Bucks 105-94.

Once they saw the Milwaukee Bucks were getting tired, C.J. Miles and the Utah Jazz really put on the pressure. "Coach (Jerry Sloan) wanted us to run and be aggressive late in the game. They started getting on their heels and we took it to them," said Miles, who scored a season-high 25 points in Utah's 104-94 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday night.

  • Nuggets return to high-flying ways in win (AP)

Denver Nuggets forward Nene, center, of Brazil, slips between Milwaukee Bucks forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, left, of Cameroon, and center Francisco Elson, of The Netherlands, for a basket in the third quarter of the Nuggets' 114-105 victory in an NBA basketball game in Denver on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008.

The high-flying, high-scoring Denver Nuggets didn't leave town with Allen Iverson, after all. Although the new model features a stingy defense and an effective halfcourt offense engineered by Chauncey Billups, there's still some pop left in the lineup to light up the scoreboards. Linas Kleiza scored 25 points, Carmelo Anthony had 17 in limited duty and the Nuggets whipped Milwaukee 114-105 Tuesday...

Andrew Bogut met earlier Wednesday with Bucks coach Scott Skiles. The message: Just be aggressive. He certainly was against Tim Duncan, who nearly carried the Spurs to a victory by himself. Bogut had 10 points and 17 rebounds, Richard Jefferson scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half and the Milwaukee Bucks held on after a big run to beat Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs 82-78 on Wednesday...

Jackson hit a 3-pointer with 2:16 left in the extra session and the Warriors sent the Timberwolves to their sixth straight loss.

If Shaquille O'Neal wants time off, it's just fine with Phoenix Suns coach Terry Porter. O'Neal had 29 points and 11 rebounds in his return from a one-game break, leading the Phoenix Suns to a 104-96 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. O'Neal was 12-of-16 from the field a night after skipping a game in Chicago as part of a strategy to occasionally rest him during the season.
