Cardinals Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
Kurt Warner faces another of his old teams this week, another former employer that thought he was washed up.
It's not a novel situation for Warner, who played against the Giants in 2005, a year after they benched him in favor of Eli Manning. He's played numerous times against the Rams, who let him go after the 2003 season.
Heck, even his current employer, the Cardinals, benched him in 2006 in favor of Matt Leinart, and threw the job open last summer even though Warner passed for 27 touchdowns in 2007.
Now, at age 37, Warner has resurrected his career, again, and is having an MVP-type season. He leads the league in passer rating (105.1) and completion percentage (70.9) and is second in touchdown passes (21) and passing yards (3,155). Despite those gaudy...

Cards could clinch division with 5 weeks to spare (AP)

Big hits create bigger confusion these days in NFL (AP)

The NFL has always known how violence is inherent and celebrated in its sport -- from the once-famous "Jacked Up" segments on ESPN, to the still-famous "Hit Stick" on the "Madden NFL '09" video game and the dozens of "greatest hits" videos. More and more, however, the hard hits are being viewed by the league in a much different light.
