A must-win game in November? Around these parts, that's been virtually unheard of the past few years.
The New England Patriots are accustomed to burying their division foes early, but this season has been much more challenging for a variety of reasons.
No Tom Brady. No defense. No cruise control in the AFC East. The Patriots suddenly find themselves in a dogfight as they head into Sunday's game at Miami. In fact, a loss might ruin any chance they have of capturing their sixth consecutive division title.
"They are just doing a good job all the way around," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said of the Dolphins. "(They are a) very strong, solid team. They played well the last month.
