Call him survivor or old QB, Collins still winning (AP)Kerry Collins may not be the NFL's best quarterback. He has a checkered personal history and a losing record as a starter. But here he is, gray stubble and all, a key reason the Tennessee Titans are the NFL's last unbeaten team with a franchise-best 10-0 mark. The fifth pick overall in 1995, Collins took his first team to the NFC championship game in his second season, and led the New York Giants to...

Bulluck practices for first time since hurting rib (AP)The Tennessee Titans appear to be healing up. Linebacker Keith Bulluck practiced Thursday for the first time since hurting a rib on Nov. 2, and defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch also practiced as he tries to return after missing three of the past four games. Bulluck cracked some cartilage holding a rib near his chest in the Titans' 19-16 overtime win Nov.

The committee met this week with representatives of Reilly Partners, the search firm seeking candidates to replace...

Gage turns in career day, Titans' best since 2004 (AP)Justin Gage took all the offseason criticism of Tennessee's receivers personally. Now he's finally showing the rest of the NFL why the Titans didn't need to sign a big-name player or draft a hotshot wide receiver. The six-year veteran had one of his best games yet last week, catching four passes for a career-high 147 yards.

Titans Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
The Tennessee Titans have done plenty of unexpected things in 2008, namely starting with a 10-0 record.
But one of the more amazing developments has been the Titans' ability to survive the loss of Pro Bowl defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch to a groin injury for what amounts to the past five games, without a dramatic drop in production. Unheralded backups Dave Ball and Jacob Ford have seen to that.
But now the Titans could be getting a bonus just in time for the stretch run of the regular season and the playoffs.
Vanden Bosch practiced for the first time in two weeks and appears, barring any setbacks, on track to return to the lineup in time for Sunday's game with the AFC East-leading New York Jets.
"I anticipate going," Vanden Bosch said.

Titans beat Jaguars, improve to 10-0 (AP)

Jack Del Rio was pumping his fist and screaming kudos to his players as the Jacksonville Jaguars jogged toward the locker room with a 14-3 lead. It was a premature celebration, especially against the league's only unbeaten team. Behind, ahead. Home, away. Run, pass. Backups, starters. No matter the situation, the Tennessee Titans keep finding ways to win -- and staying undefeated.

Matt Jones inactive for Jaguars (AP)Jacksonville's Matt Jones, the Jaguars' leading receiver, was inactive against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, missing the game because a thigh injury. Jones leads the Jaguars with 50 catches for 586 yards and two touchdowns. Jerry Porter, the team's top offseason acquisition, started in his place. Jacksonville also was without two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle John Henderson (knee) and receiver...

'Goliath' heads to Jacksonville, seeks 10-0 start (AP)The oddsmakers seemingly have more confidence in the Jacksonville Jaguars than their coach. Jack Del Rio didn't give his team much of a chance against unbeaten Tennessee (9-0) on Sunday. Maybe he was offering up his best Vince Dooley or Lou Holtz impression, or maybe he was trying a new tactic to motivate players reeling from what has been a disappointing season.

Titans' passing attack efficient, effective (AP)

The Tennessee Titans finally have made it tough on defenses. Kerry Collins has proven he can win games with his arm. Now, running back LenDale White says, it's time for opponents to pick their poison. Keep stacking the line to stop one of the NFL's best rushing offenses? Or play straight up to keep Collins from picking a defense apart?

No mystery here, Titans must stop Jags' run game (AP)The Tennessee Titans are back where they started the season, needing to stop Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor. They couldn't have started any better than holding not only the talented duo but all the Jaguars to a combined 33 yards rushing in a 17-10 win. That stout run defense has been a key piece of the Titans' 9-0 start, but Tennessee has shown some cracks in recent weeks.
